Changeover Technician
Job Description
A Changeover Technician is required on an initial 12 Month basis by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based Biopharmaceutical Client. The Changeover Technician supports the area Process Team's and will liaise routinely with the Technical Support staff and Operations to maintain and enhance area controls. Improvements to control systems in conjunction with other continuous improvement initiatives will allow the team to measure, evaluate and incrementally improve performance in the areas of Safety, Quality Delivery and Cost.
Role of this position

Lead Area Production Change-Over Activities
Support New Production Introduction and campaign start-up activities
Support resolution of critical supply and material issues in production areas
Support implementation of QEH&S, Trackwise CAPAs and Change Management implementation steps associated with the production area and manufacturing process
Participate in safety/quality audits of the building
Support in the generation and delivery of training material for process operations
Lead area continuous improvement activities and CSI initiatives
Membership / participation in building safety committee, CAP group
Support Lean Manufacturing Initiatives as appropriate
Support ongoing Inspection Readiness effort


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Leaving certificate minimum with 3+ years relevant experience
Ideally, relevant 3rd level qualification
Knowledge of biotech operations is required
Demonstrated aptitude and interest for problem-solving. (Ability to analyse available data/information and propose next steps/solutions).
Demonstrated strong communication skills - oral and written
Demonstrated ability to influence and to lead change
Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork. (Ability to deal with unexpected issues in a constructive and collaborative way)
Intermediate level PC/IT skills (Word & Excel)Job Description
